TEXTE: Transfer of Expertise in Technologies of Editing
The TEXTE project, based at the Moore Institute at the National University of Ireland, Galway, funded six post-doctoral European researchers to create electronic archives and editions of historical and literary texts using new technologies of imaging, text-encoding, editing, and hypermedia publication.
The project was funded under the EU's Sixth Framework Programme (2002–2006), Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge scheme. It was directed by Prof. Sean Ryder.
