At the Academy meeting of 19 March a committee was appointed to examine the
charges of misconduct made against Barry by some members of the Academy (See Richards to Barry, 12 March and 13 March 1799).
Barry's account of the meeting at which that committee was appointed is given in Appendix C 2: Memorandum.

You are requested to meet the president,1 and the rest of the academicians on
Monday next, the 15th day of April, at seven o'clock in the evening, to receive
the report of the committee on the charges2 brought against the Professor of Painting. I am, sir, your most humble
